ABOUT SUZANNE

BASED IN CALIFORNIA

Suzanne was born and raised in California’s Central Valley and still calls it home. Finding herself with an empty nest as her kids were grown, Sue decided to invest more time in her art. She designed a custom studio space out of what was once a boat garage; now it serves as a peaceful retreat for her and her creativity. Sue’s home and studio are nestled in acres of almond trees.

More inspiration is just a couple of hours away in beautiful Santa Cruz where Sue and her husband, Mark, always look forward to spending weekends at their home by Twin Lakes Beach. The ocean and every facet of its beauty has always inspired Sue, and is the main focus of her paintings. Over the years, her love for painting has grown as she’s spent time taking classes, participating in workshops and critiques, and coordinating paint sessions with local artists.
